About the project.
Flat Stanley is a written language project particularly suitable for children in their first 3 years of schooling. It encourages children to describe and explain events and to share their ideas with an audience who are going to respond and interact with them.

This project has proved to be a lot of fun whilst encouraging children to develop their oral, written and visual language skills. It is amazing how real these cardboard Flat Stanleys can become; in fact some have been known to whisper in the teacher's ear the name of the child they want to go home with today!
